Roskva Yasmin Andersen (34, NO) is a Bergen-based contemporary dance artist working across stage, film, and site-specific contexts. She creates her own work, often in collaboration with others.
She trained at Spin Off in Oslo, Amsterdam School of the Arts, and holds a BA in performing arts with pedagogy from the University of Stavanger. In 2015, she studied at Concordia University in Montreal. In 2025, she was selected for PAHN’s Norway Now program, presenting her work in New York, and received the Norwegian Dance Artists’ Professional Grant in Choreography.
Her works have toured nationally and internationally. Soft Landing premieres at BIT Teatergarasjen in 2026. Looking Glass (2023) is currently touring, and Underneath (2018) was adapted for children and included in DKS Vestland (2023–2025). She also runs Festival DanseRom, inviting audiences to explore what contemporary dance can be.
Her practice centers on the meeting point between emotion, body, and scenography. Through dance, she explores relationships—with ourselves, our bodies, and each other—aiming to create inclusive, spacious works that connect with diverse audiences.
